Whether you are a student, teacher, historian or tourist, the Kentucky Women’s History Project will prove a valuable resource for you to learn about the significant role women have played in the progress of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. We invite you to visit us often, as our site is regularly updated with new information and resources. This project was initiated by The Kentucky Commission on Women August 26, 2010 in celebration of the 90^th anniversary of Women Suffrage and a gift to the Commonwealth in honor of the 100^th Anniversary of Women Suffrage. This website is not maintained using taxpayer funds.
